A video capturing an emotional moment during the 80th birthday celebration of veteran actor Olu Jacobs has surfaced online, evoking strong emotions from netizens.
The renowned actor turned 81 years old on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, and to celebrate him, a TikTok user shared an old video from the actor’s birthday party last year.
In the clip, Olu Jacobs’ son and his wife, Joke Silva, can be seen providing assistance as they all come together to cut his birthday cake.
At the beginning of the video, which was shared by @abidexx_bb, Olu Jacobs is seen standing beside his wife, Joke Silva. Shortly after, Joke Silva steps aside to allow a personal photo to be taken of her husband.
Then, Olu Jacobs’ son lovingly steps forward, gently holds his father’s hands, and guides him in cutting the cake.
The video quickly went viral and stirred touching reactions from netizens who reflected on how agile Olu Jacobs used to be.
