A woman has taken to social media to express disappointment after her wedding cake reportedly went bad within 24 hours of the event.
The issue became obvious shortly after the ceremony, leaving her shocked, considering the cake was meant for a wedding celebration. She explained that her sister even tried salvaging it by removing the icing from the cake and placing it in the refrigerator.
However, despite the effort, the cake still spoiled. She displayed a large piece of the cake, showing the wastage following her wedding.
Clearly frustrated by the experience, the woman hinted that a full story time would be coming soon, suggesting there may have been more issues to settle with the vendor
The incident has since sparked conversations, with many people speculating about the procedure that was used to bake the cake.
Online users pointed out that it was either the cake’s preservatives or the storage that spoiled it.
Others also shared personal experiences of cakes spoiling quickly after events, especially in hot weather conditions.
