Things escalated when she confronted the makeup artist, who could be heard in the background defending her work. When the woman questioned why her lashes weren’t fixed, the artist responded that eyelash installation wasn’t included in the ₦15K fee and would require an additional ₦5K.
The response didn’t sit well with the client, who felt that, for the amount paid, basic finishing touches should have been included. What made the situation worse was the artist’s tone, which came across as dismissive rather than solution-driven.
