A woman was shocked to receive a letter from a teenage girl in church, criticizing her for supposedly dressing indecently.
In an online video, she was stunned after reading the letter and decided to show the long, ankle-length dress she had worn to church, questioning how her outfit could be considered indecent when none of her body parts were exposed.

She explained that she had always been intentional about dressing modestly to church and said she could not remember wearing anything above her ankles to church in the past year.
What particularly surprised her was the teenager’s claim that women are largely responsible when men lust after them because of how they dress.

According to the letter, the teenager wrote: “You distract yourself but you also distract other people, which is a sin. Be dressed modest. Remember that if a man looks at a woman lustfully, the fault 80 percent is on the woman if she dresses indecently.”
The woman, visibly upset, estimated that the girl was between 15 and 16 years old and said she was concerned that the teenager appeared to have developed a male-centered view of women at such a young age.
She added that no amount of preaching about feminism or challenging male-centered beliefs could completely prevent some women from being condescending towards other women.
