A woman recounted how her husband reacted after his six sisters allegedly excluded her and her children from breakfast during last year’s Christmas celebration because she did not wake up early to cook.
According to the woman, her sisters-in-law held a meeting to prepare breakfast for themselves and their children, deliberately leaving her and her children out because she usually didn’t wake up by 6 a.m. to cook.
She said she woke up around 7:30 a.m. and went to the kitchen to prepare food for her baby, only to find everyone already eating.
The woman reportedly laughed at the situation before informing her husband about what had happened.
However, her husband did not make an issue out of it, as they were preparing to travel back to Onitsha after the Christmas festivities.
She further revealed that the lastborn among her sisters-in-law later called her to ask her husband for feeding money.
According to her, her husband refused to give anyone money, displeased that his family treats his wife and children that way, especially since he bought the foodstuffs.
Despite the experience, the woman said she intended to repeat the same approach during this year’s Christmas celebration.
