A viral video has captured the moment a new mom declined to hold her newborn baby shortly after giving birth.
In the video, a nurse brought the baby to the new mother in the hospital ward just moments after what is presumed to have been a stressful labor, but she refused to touch or hold the child.
While one would have expected her to take the baby from the nurse and cradle, she used her hand gesture to tell the nurse to still keep the baby.
The nurse tried again, but the clearly exhausted mother kept a frown on her face and refused to look at the baby.
