A woman has gone viral after sharing her physical transformation over the years, documenting how she looked while living in Nigeria, Dubai and, most recently, the United Kingdom.
In the video, she first showed photos of herself taken in Nigeria in 2018, followed by clips from her time in Dubai in 2020, before revealing her current appearance in the UK in 2025. While many viewers expected to see a glamorous glow-up, the final clip showed her looking noticeably more tired and worn out.
As the video gained traction, some social media users speculated about the effects of relocating, stressful work schedules and adapting to life abroad. Others pointed out that it could be a result of pressure from family and friends at home.
Responding to the reactions, the woman explained that the video only captured part of her journey. She said things eventually improved and that she chose to share her unfiltered experience to encourage others going through similar challenges.
Her post has continued to spark conversations online, with many people sharing their own experiences of adjusting to life abroad and the realities behind social media expectations.

@Dekatchy The water is really hard on your skin. Get shower filter from Amazon, use lukewarm water instead of hot water. At the moment, if you can, try using filtered water to wash your face for a while. You can also get that from Amazon. You will be fine..x
