- It is Olamide’s 5th album in 5 years.
- Surprisingly the album features no other act, yeah ‘zero features’ as described by Olamide.
- The album will be released on Monday, November 23, 2015.
- Olamide initially considered not releasing an album this year while contemplating on promoting his label acts especially Lil Kesh and Adekunle Gold.
- Eyan Mayweather is the 4th album from Olamide’s YBNL. His debut was released under Id Cabasa’s Coded Tunes.
- On ‘Eyan Mayweather,’ Olamide worked with 4 producers- Id Cabasa and Young John who produced a song each, B Banks who has 3 productions credits and the talented Pheels who is responsible for 16 songs out of the 21 tracks on the album.
- Out of the 21 tracks that made the album, only 4 songs have been previously released. They are ‘Matters Arising’, ‘Bobo (Shakiti bobo)’, ‘Lagos Boys’ and ‘Melo Melo’
