Moments ago, a Facebook user Martins Sammie shared the story of how one housewife (pictured above) narrowly escaped being lynched in Onitsha for abusing her maid in public.

‘If not for the prompt intervention of the White House Security; the woman pictured below would have been lynched by the Market Women of Kano Street Onitsha for abusing her maid in the open. I learnt she stopped the maid’s schooling and abuses her at will.”
What kind of life is this???? People practice human trafficking and child abuse in different ways. A young child that is suppose to be in school is been use for the exchange of money, trading, slavery etc. Child abuse is increasing daily and people don’t want to stop in the act. Even if we want to have house maid or help in our various houses it should be adults not children. The adults too should be taken care of an not maltreating them. Yoruba proverb says Ona lo jin eru ni baba meaning a slave too have parent but the distance to where they are is far apart, another one says Bi a se bi eru la bi omo meaning the same way you gave birth to your child so also it is to the slaves. Please lets stop child abuse in any form or manner. Please any child in your care should be well taken care off lets not treat them less they are humans like us. Parent should please go for family planning in order to reduce the number of child birth in that family, when you have limited number of children trust me you will be able to take good care of them and give good education. Children are legacy we all are going to leave behind when we are gone and they are to represent us so lets train them well cause they are the FUTURE OF THIS GREAT NATION. SAY NO TO CHILD ABUSE, CHILD MOLESTATION, AND CHILD TRAFFICKING.
