A father of thirty years old was apprehended alongside his friend in an attempt to sell his six-year old son.
In an incident which was reported to have happened on June 21, 2017 around Agbowo area of Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo state, the two middle aged men wanted to sell the son in order to the raise money for the burial ceremony of the child’s mother.
The two men were arraigned before the Iyangaku Magistrate Court in Ibadan although both pleaded not guilty.
Haruna Sule and his cohort, Abdulfatai Quadri were arraigned on a two-count charge of conspiracy and attemept to sell son.
