During today’s service at the International Headquarters, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Ministries, Dr. DK Olukoya, said “Tithing is not compulsory”, as it’s purely a personal relationship between the giver and God.
“There is nowhere in the Bible where it is written that tithing and giving offering is compulsory. But if you want to trust God with your finances you should even strive to do more than the tithe.”
He also said real Christians sees everything they own as Gods and those with faith have gone beyond giving 10%…..By doing so you God may bless you even more and this way you are sowing seed for future prosperity.
As a christian giving should be your life style.
Tithing opens doors for you but it is not a criterium for God blessing you.
We tithe because we should but not necessarily a prerequisite for God to bless us.
The bible says that God had already blessed us with every spiritual blessings in the heavenly places.
And according as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertains to life and to Godliness.
You should let your offering and tithe go byond 10% I give because I know who God is to me and all things are mine mentality.
Let’s not let the devil tell us who God is not.
Give if you want to
Its a personal thing with God not with man at all….you rob God and expect open doors.when you give, give it unto God and not unto man..because he that sees you will reward you .
Pay your tithe so that you do not pay it to the devil. The devil collect tithe in various ways. Hospital bills, lost, theft, etc, i have had a revelation of what I am talking about and I have as well witnessed it in the physical. The only problem I see in our present day churches is that the meat the bible spoke of is not really given to the orphans, widows and those in need in most churches. Most churches are concern with building schools, universities and other business ventures only. In other cases, the relationship or grounds for members to even open up to their pastors are not there, talk less of these needs be meant. Some members are also ashame to ask.
It is a good thing to give even beyond tithe to promote God’s work. Thanks.
Giving your tithe is not do or die affair,God didn’t force anyone about tithe but it for your own good.
Absolutely right, I love paying my tithe and even praying for more grace.

The devil is attacking nigerian church instead of praying for God to reveal himself and teach them they are doing debate .when a non christian begin to tell u what to do then there is a prob in the body of christ
Some pst need to go and study to be approve .go and preavj the good news and stop the tithe issue is a non issue if u like pay if u dont no prob
