A Nigerian man has gotten negative reactions from Netizens after he highlighted the reasons why he has never been molested by SARS officials.
The man, identified as Ezeaka Chidozie, took to Twitter to list the qualities that ‘distinguishes’ him from other young Nigerians that have been harassed by SARS in the past.
According to him, he is a ‘law abiding citizen’ who doesn’t stay out late, keeps the right association, dresses decently and carries all receipts of his belongings.
He wrote,
NO SARS has molested me before because before it’s 10pm I’m already in my house. except occasionally.
NO SARS has molested me before because I select friends i keep. I avoid being guilty by association.
NO SARS has molested me before because after dressing up, I look at myself in the mirror again and again to ascertain whether i look NOTORIOUS, SUSPICIOUS or like a gentleman.
No SARS has molested me before because I keep receipts of all gadgets I buy and if I have to drive an automobile, I will make sure the vehicle documents are INTACT and up to date.

Chidozie came under fire for insinuating that victims of SARS and police brutality are to be blamed for their plight. Some people noted that there are individuals that followed all the criterions he highlighted but still got molested by the defunct unit members.
