A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to reveal that his brother has employed their father several years after he was disowned over religious reasons.
According to @bobola__, his brother started a pig/pork business years ago, which is considered ‘haram’ (Arabic word for ‘forbidden’) in Islam. Due to his decision to venture into the business, their father disowned him.
Fortunately for his brother, the business became very successful and he returned home, and sent their send their father on a pilgrimage to Mecca.
Interestingly, the father who was strongly against the business, now has a change of heart and is working as the manager of the pig farm.
@bobola__ wrote,
“My brother was disown by my father because he venture into a pig/pork business as a muslim, few years later he came back 3x richer from the business and sent my father on a pilgrimage to Mecca. Now my father is the manager of his pig company.. in this life, just have money.”
In other news, a Nigerian lady, identified as Blessing Robert, has advised women who are trying to prove to their partners that they are ‘wife material’ by cooking, cleaning and doing laundry to re-strategize because the trick is not working anymore.
Blessing in a post shared on Facebook said some men have discovered that women hide their bad characters by doing chores whenever they visit whereas they are terrible people.
She then advised such women to go back to the drawing board to come up with another strategy to convince men to marry them because the previous one is now obsolete. Read here
