Popular Nigerian activist, Aisha Yesufu, has lambasted Bashir El-Rufai, one of the sons of Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, for a derogatory remark he made about her.
Bashir had stated that Aisha dances like a ‘demented goat fully clothed in hijab’, while reacting to a tweet condemning Muslims who act ‘woke’ on social media.
He tweeted,
“Why do you think @AishaYesufu dances like a demented goat at her age fully clothed in hijab?
They seek to impress those they have realized would never accept them until they follow them to hell to face Allah.”
In response to his tweet, Aisha took a dig at Bashir, stating that her son prefers to be the child of one who dances in her hijab than one accused of causing his wife’s mental illness after he was caught in bed with her blood sister.
She tweeted,
“@BashirElRufai my son definitely prefers to be the child of one who dances in her hijab than to be the child of one accused of causing the mental illness of one of his wives when she caught him in bed with her blood sister.
What about you?”
