Cops were called to Barbadian singer Rihanna’s house on Thursday, March 23, after a random man showed up to ask for her hand in marriage.
It was gathered that the man traveled from South Carolina to propose to the mother of one who’s expecting her second child with partner, A$AP Rocky.
After the man revealed he was there to propose to the singer, Rihanna’s team called the cops right away. TMZ reports.
When the officers arrived, they put the man, who was dressed in a red Nike hoodie, in handcuffs, got him in a car, and had a serious chat about his intentions.
Although he had not broken any laws, he was asked to leave the area and never return.

The man’s audacious gesture stirred reactions online, with netizens teasing Nigerian music executive Don Jazzy, who used to have a huge crush on Rihanna.
Some joked that Don Jazzy, like the man, should have shown up at Rihanna’s door to make his intentions known, and she might have considered him.
