Funsho Adeoti, the estranged wife of Kazim Adeoti, has finally addressed the controversy surrounding her 50th birthday party which took place last week.
Last week, the entrepreneur celebrated her 50th birthday surrounded by her friends and family. Notably absent was her estranged husband Kazim Adeoti, who is currently married to Nigerian actress Mercy Aigbe.
His absence at the party had sparked rumours online, generating a lot of criticism. In response to this backlash, he issued a public statement addressing the situation.
In the statement that while he had been unable to attend due to personal reasons, he had still provided financial and moral support and he and his first wife still maintained a cordial relationship.
However many doubted his statement, especially after Funsho took to her Instagram to thank everyone but her husband for supporting her on her birthday.
The post read;
