A man called out a lounge after claiming that the establishment prepared pepper soup instead of the BBQ fish she ordered.

According to the customer, he visited the lounge and placed an order for BBQ fish. After waiting 15 minutes, he asked about his meal, only to be told the lounge did not sell BBQ fish.

The staff who attended to him said the lounge doesn’t sell BBQ, but they were preparing pepper soup as a replacement. He expressed frustration that the staff prepared pepper soup without confirming whether he wanted it as an alternative.

The customer argued that businesses should remove items they don’t sell from their menus or inform customers upfront rather than waste their time.

He also questioned whether he was overreacting for refusing the pepper soup, asking others if they would have accepted the alternative in his position. He wanted to know whether his reaction was valid or he was overreacting.

Below are some reactions,

@Enyinwadaddy I will not accept what i didn’t order for, if I wanted pepper soup, that is exactly what I’d order.

@Ashibabon Accept which peppersoup? The seller is a fraud and he/she is manipulative, because what do you mean i’ll love the peppersoup
