A lady has given a rather controversial take as she explains that Jesus Christ would have been a feminist ally if he were to be in this age and time.
In the video, she backed up her statement with the Bible story of Mary and Martha: While Martha was busy with domestic chores, Mary sat at the feet of Jesus, learning, getting educated and wisdom to understand the ways of spirituality.
And after Martha came to Jesus to ask that he tell her sister, Mary, to help her with the chores, Jesus told her that Mary had chosen the right place to be. The lady added that, in those times women were not even given so much rights, and yet Jesus saw the irrelevance of domestic chores with learning for women. Another is the story of Deborah, whom God anointed and appointed to lead the people amidst men. Everything she said to be done, the men carried it out.
This realization for the lady has opened her to the fact that patriarchy is not of God and women should not be deluded that it is. God never commanded anyone to mistr3at women in any way. “This is the time for women to be awake”, she concluded.
