A content creator has taken to social media to share her father’s comment after she shared a video in which she talked about how she didn’t want a man like him.
In the video she shared that her father went from being the sweetest person she had ever known, to someone that she barely knew. She hesitated on spilling so much on the matter because she considered the issue sensitive, but then, made it clear that for the longest of time, she didn’t want to be with a man like her father. But whilst she avoided such kind of men, she was also looking for men that would lover her in a way that would fill the vacuum which her father had created. Yet, while she critiqued her father, she added that as the first daughter, she is his female version, and any man who would want to approach her should make sure he comes “correct”.
She reshared the video on Facebook and her father saw it. In his words he commented, “You are a big f00l b@stard”, the daughter replied, “Thank you for your opinion”.
In the video in which she revealed his reply, she states that she is aware that the incident would warrant that she starts explaining herself, which will lead her to go deep into her family matters, but she would not. Obviously what she said stroke a nerve, but she would not be found trying to defend her actions: “I said what I said”, she concluded.
Her video has stirred different reactions from netizens: some critiqued her father’s reaction while a few advised that she gives him the benefit of doubt so they would resolve their differences.
