Popular Nollywood actor, Deyemi Okanlawon has proposed to his wife, Damilola, again after ten years of marriage.
The couple recently celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary and decided to mark the milestone with a simple get-together, surrounded by friends and family.
A highlight of the event was when the actor got down on one knee and asked his wife to marry him all over again.
Deyemi explained that over the years, he has come to truly understand the meaning of marriage and wishes to renew his vows with his wife.
On bended knee, stretching a box of ring to his wife, Deyemi said,
“It’s been 10 beautiful years, and we have two beautiful boys. When I first asked you, ‘Will you marry me?’, I didn’t fully comprehend what it meant. I didn’t know it meant journeying together, battling together, going against the world together, dreaming together, living together, crying together, and doing everything together. And so, today, ten years later, I am going to ask the question again, ‘Will you say yes again?”
His wife replied with a heartfelt “Yes,” and he slipped the ring onto her finger.

In other news, Deyemi Okanlawon has advised people to avoid getting into a committed relationship if they are not financially stable.
He stated this in a tweet shared via his Twitter handle on Tuesday, March 28. According to Deyemi, people should take a break from their ‘serious’ relationships if they are struggling financially to build themselves.
The movie star advised such people, both men and women, to focus on developing themselves first before getting into a serious relationship.
