Nigerian clergyman, Rev. Fr. Oluoma, has averred that taking alcohol is not a sin and cannot prevent anyone from making it to heaven.

Rev. Fr. Oluoma, who stated this during a recent sermon in his church, noted that alcohol is medicinal and was created by God.

Speaking further, the man of God encouraged people drinking alcohol to drink it moderately as it has health benefits. He added that in the Bible, Paul asked Timothy to drink alcohol for his stomach problem.

Sharing the video on his official Instagram page, Rev. Fr. Oluoma wrote, 

“Alcohol is medicinal and biblical, whether you like it or not. Just don’t abuse it. Take it moderately. Alcohol won’t prevent you from going to heaven. “

In related news, controversial Ghanaian Prophet, Nigel Gaisie, has reportedly said there is nothing wrong with a man of God womanizing or drinking alcohol.
