Popular Nollywood actress, Adaeze Eluke has taken to social media to advise men to speak up when they need help.

According to the actress, as a man, opening up about your feelings or challenges is not in any way a sign of weakness.

Adaeze Eluke who noted that over seventy-five percent of people who commit suicide in the world today are men, urged them to open up about whatever they are going through.

In her words,

“Dear men asking for help is not weakness. 75% of people who commit suicide in the world today are men. Stop manning up and speak up to someone today”.

Ada’s advise has however stirred mixed reactions on social media. An Instagram user noted that the reason why most men do not speak up is because they rarely get help even after opening up.

In his words, “But ma when we speak no body even dey answer”.

@edem_abraham2020 wrote, “No one listens if men speak, should we continue speaking.? Especially this part of the world all power is given to the women over the men. Lord have mercy”.
