Mixed reactions have trailed the new-found relationship between BBNaija ‘level up’ housemates, Phyna, and her co-star, Groovy.
Following the disqualification of his former love interest, Beauty Tukura, a week ago, Phyna has pitched her tent with the 26-year-old Anambra born housemate.
Recall that Beauty was disqualified because she couldn’t keep her emotions under control after seeing Groovy dancing with other female housemates at the Saturday night party on August 6.
After Beauty left the show, Amaka and Phyna developed interest in Groovy and didn’t waste anytime to express their feelings for him.
Though Amaka made her feelings known first and was encouraged by Phyna to pursue a relationship with him, Groovy gave slight indication that he was interested in Phyna instead, which made her throw caution to the wind and began spending time with him.
She started spending nights cuddled up in bed with Groovy – a move that didn’t sit well with her teeming fans who expressed disappointment in her for being involved with Groovy when her best friend, Amaka, also likes him.
Despite the controversies surrounding her love affair with Groovy, the Edo-born housemate has made it evident that she doesn’t care what anyone thinks and would readily follow her heart regardless of who she might be hurting.
Last night, Phyna, who is evidently smitten by Groovy, was captured locking lips with him at two separate times.
