Mella, one of the babymamas of Nigerian rapper, JJC Skillz, has revealed why their son, Benito, was expelled from his school in Lagos.
This is coming after Benito took to his Instagram page to accuse his father of physically assaulting him and threatening to kill him, after he got wind of his expulsion from school.
Benito had claimed his father beat him up black and blue and called him a “waste” because he was expelled.
Well, Mella took to her IG page on Friday, April 22, to disclose that Benito has now been admitted into a drama school, eventhough his father will not acknowledge him.
She also attacked JJC Skillz for not defending his son following the myriad of criticisms he received from his wife, Funke Akindele’s fans.
Mella wrote,
“This is your child that you’ve failed to protect. My child that I entrusted to you. The child who yesterday was accepted into drama college by audition only, but won’t post it out for fear of once again being sabotaged. The child who has made mistakes like all teenagers but has loved you unconditionally, has had to face an army of abuse, trolls, harassment, bullying and defamation and yet silence from you and your camp. No defence, no acknowledgement. Nothing.
But you cannot break his spirit of us. Our bond is too strong. We will leave the authorities to do their job.
Your greatest loss is your son by your own hands.
Leave us in peace.”
However, a follower advised her to let the matter go and reassured her that JJC Skillz will recognize his son once he makes him proud by graduating from his new school.
“Leave them alone.. God will uphold you and ur son.. when he is dne with his new school, I am sure his dad would post him but not now he was expelled… sorry ehn”, she wrote.
In response, Mella disclosed why Benito was expelled from his school, and stated that he didn’t deserve to be beaten like that.
She wrote, “Benito and other children brought some alcohol into school, it was wrong but he didn’t deserve to be beaten like that. No child does.”
