Nigerian pastor claims

A Nigerian clergyman based in Calabar, Amos Obeten, has claimed that a bishop almost initiated him into a cult group 23 years ago.

He made this shocking disclosure in response to veteran actor, Yemi Solade’s statement that one must belong to a cult in order to survive in Nigeria.

Amos, using his experience to buttress Yemi’s statement, said he was on the verge of being initiated into a cult by a Bishop when they travelled to another country for a ministration.

“My brother is a very bitter truth, do u no as a very young preacher 23years ago a Bishop almost initiated me into a cult outside the country when we travelled together for a ministration, what saved me was my commitment to the holyghost!” he wrote.

In other news, a theatre art student of the Ekiti State University (EKSU) has stirred reactions from netizens after being allegedly possessed by the spirit of the Sango deity being portrayed in an act.

A video posted online captured the moment a student acting as a deity lost control during a play in the school’s auditorium and had to be escorted out.

The EKSU student appeared powerless to halt Sango’s demonstration and was dragged away by strong guys who struggled as they did so.

The video was captured;

“See how Sangos spirit showed up today during obakoso performance by theatre arts students Ekiti State.”

  1. Why must anyone join a cult group to survive in Nigeria, is survival that difficult?….no it is because you want to live a lifestyle you didn’t work hard for and your proud desire to impress others. Put God first in your life and God’s spirit will see you through any difficulty.
