Burna Boy distributes

Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Damini ‘Burna Boy’ Ogulu, has distributed food packs to over 300 families in Kono community in Rivers state to celebrate his Grammy win.

This comes after he was hosted to a royal-like homecoming ceremony by Governor Wike in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

According to a post shared by Africa Facts Zone on Twitter, the Grammy award winner distributed relief items to less privileged families in Kono, Khana Local Government Area of Rivers state.

Burna Boy distributes

From the photos making rounds on social media, the food packs contain rice, garri, beans, a bottle of palm oil, spices, among other things.

Large banners that had Burna Boy’s picture were also positioned at strategic areas of the outreach location. Burna boy reportedly partnered with an NG0, The Reach Foundation, to distribute the food items.
