British-born Nollywood actress, Beverly Naya has slammed Lagos lawmaker, Mojisola Alli-Macaulay, who has sparked outrage on social media over her statement at the Lagos House of Assembly.
Recall that during her submission on the crisis that rocked Lagos after hoodlums hijacked the #EndSARS protest, she placed the blame on the youths.
Moji said most Nigerian youths are high on drugs all the time and they go online to do all sorts of things.
She also didn’t have any problem with graduates, abandoning their qualifications due to unemployment to become designers or professional tilers.
Reacting to the Lawmaker’s statement, Beverely stated that the children will not shut up or respect her because respect is earned and none of them have earned it.
She tweeted,

So someone should study law for example and then become a professional tailor/ tiler due to a lack of job opportunities and she doesn’t see anything fundamentally wrong with that? What a joke!
