The reputation of a popular church, Redeemed Christian Church of God is about to be subjected to scrutiny as a new ‘sacrificial giving’ form posted on the comment section by one of its members asking if they would be using it for the donation has drawn people’s attention.
The controversial ‘sacrificial giving’ form contains amounts totalling millions, members are urged to donate. Some are even told to give up their whole salary.
Many who saw the form expressed shock as they believe it is just another money making scam.
‘Seek ye first the kingdom of God and it’s righteousness, all other thing things shall be added unto you’ These were the words of Jesus Christ.
I don not understand why we have chosen to do the otherwise. God cannot be bought, he cannot be told what to do neither can he be coerced.
If you are giving to your church freely, it is left for God to qualify the kind of blessing you will get. Even, at, in all cases, Christ prayed for the Father’s will to be done.
Placing how much and what blessing is not Godly.
The Redeemed Christian Church of God has been informed about an incident on social media which was allegedly issued by RCCG Region 14. The social media post is requesting members to make sacrificial contributions towards a building project. We would like to inform that public that the request and information is fraudulent and did not originate from RCCG Region 14 or any other branches of RCCG.
We advise that you remain vigilant of fraudulent requests.
