Big Brother Naija star, Doyin Davids, has revealed that she can’t date someone who lives on the mainland unless he is willing to move to the Island.
She made this statement in a recent interview on Channels TV’s ‘Rubbin Minds.’ Doyin clarified that she doesn’t have an issue with dating a man who resides in the mainland area of Lagos state, but he would need to relocate to the Island.
According to her, this is necessary because her entire life and work revolve around the Island, and it wouldn’t be feasible for her to date someone residing on the mainland.
However, she mentioned that they might need to find a middle ground and make some compromises if the person has significant commitments on the mainland.
Her words,
“I don’t live on the mainland. I don’t think there is anything with living on the mainland but if I am going to date you then you would have to move to the Island just because that is where I am used to and it is also closer to everything I do. Absolutely, he will move to the Island. I am not going to mainland. If he really wants someone that will live on the mainland, he could find himself another wife but that’s not going to be me”
Speaking further, the 27-year-old reality TV star said she can’t marry a broke man because of the kind of life she desires for her unborn children.
She mentioned that the man doesn’t necessarily have to be the wealthiest, but he must be able to provide a comfortable life for her and their kids.
She added that she doesn’t want her daughter to date someone solely for financial gains, so she desires to give her kids a comfortable lifestyle.
