18 year old Ontlametse Ntlami Phalatse, a South African progeria sufferer has died.
According to eNCA, Phalatse passed away at Dr George Mukhari Academic Hospital in Ga-Rankuwa outside Pretoria on Tuesday night.
Her death is coming weeks after she met with South African president Jacob Zuma to celebrate her birthday.
Progeria is a rare genetic disorder which causes premature aging.
Nigerian pop-star, Davido took to his Instagram to mourn the positivity champion, but got enraged after his fan mocked the late 18 year old.

“It is with great sadness to inform you of the passing of our first lady, Ontlametse Ntlami Phalatse. Our hearts are filled with pain and sadness but Ontlametse – as we know her – would want us to carry on with her courageous spirit,” a family of Ntlami said in a statement, announcing her death.
