Anita Brown, the American woman who claims to be pregnant for Nigerian singer Davido, has replied to Instagram users who referred to her as the singer’s wife.
Anita started trending on the Nigerian web space after publicly announcing on Tuesday night, June 27, that she is carrying the singer’s child.
In a series of posts on her Instagram page, Anita accused Davido of impregnating her and asking her to get an abortion when she informed him about it.
To further substantiate her allegations, she shared screenshots of alleged conversations between them. She also dismissed speculations that her affair with Davido was a one-night stand, as she claims they met as far back as 2017.
However, amidst all the drama, she made it clear that she has no intention of taking Davido’s wife, Chioma’s place.
Despite this disclaimer, some social media users continue to flood her page with tags like “our wife.”
An Instagram user, via the comment section of one of her Instagram posts, told Anita that Nigerians accept her as the singer’s wife, and surprisingly she reacted.
“@ninatheelite you are beautiful. We Nigerians love you and accept you as our wife,” an Instagram user wrote, to which Anita simply replied, “Amen.”
Another user referred to her as “OBO’s wife” (referring to Davido’s nickname “OBO”), and she replied, “Exactly, big wife.”
