A woman has come online to share the consequence that comes with the loneliness of divorce.

According to her, she was once married and then got divorced after having two children. And what she noticed as time passed was that she got so lonely that attention from substandard men whom she wouldn’t normally look at, became attractive to her. They call her beautiful, and immediately she would feel wanted that she allowed them access to her space.

She added that some of those men that approached her weren’t looking for relationships, they were only taking advantage of the the fact that she was a divorced mother who wanted companion. These made her to realize that loneliness can make one negotiate things that her standards would have rejected. When you desperately want somebody to choose you, you forget that you are meant to be chosen too. She advised divorced women to not only ask if the man want them, but stop to ask themselves if they would want the man if they weren’t lonely. “Attention is not commitment, s3x is not love and someone wanting access to you doesn’t mean they are qualified to build life with you”, she added.

In appreciation, she thanked God for the love she later found, but she confessed that she had to stop allowing loneliness to do the choosing before that love happened for her again. She concluded with a question to netizens, asking that when they are lonely, which is harder: waiting for the right person or walking away from the wrong person?
