35-year-old Nigerian singer, Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua popularly known as Seyi Shay, has revealed there’s been a lot of pressure on her from her fans to get married.
The singer who made this revelation in a chat with HipTV noted that the public puts so much pressure on celebrities to do certain things. Sharing her personal experience, Seyi noted that that asides putting pressure on her to marry, her fans also pressure her to share more raunchy photos on social media.
In her words,
“I feel pressure from my fans to get married, have babies, have a boyfriend; that is all before the pressure to release a new single sometimes. That is really crazy. Pressure to show some more butt pictures. The pressure is high, but it is good.”
Meanwhile, the sensational singer had earlier taken to social media to state that love is no longer existential and it is a futile attempt for anyone to embark on a love seeking adventure.
Seyi who got engaged in 2019 but the relationship ended due to infidelity, aired her stance on love via micro-blogging platform, Twitter.
She tweeted,
