Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti, has advised parents to begin sex education with their children at a young age.

The father of one, who gave this advice in a post shared via his Instagram page, said it’s high time parents stopped shying away from conversations about sex with their kids and taught their children about sex.

According to him, everything in Nigeria today is centred around sex, from images to songs that these children are exposed to.

He went on to say that 14-year-olds had sex in his generation, so it’s no surprise that the age for youngsters in this generation has plummeted.

“Everything in Nigeria is centered around sex. Children are faced daily in fact inundated with sexual images. All the songs the media feeds them, everything is hyper sexualized. Sex tapes of their media created role models everywhere coupled with the internet, just start sex education early instead of forming saint, In my generation most 14 year olds were already doing it or planning to do it, I am nit surprised the age dropped.” He wrote.
