Controversial Nigerian entertainer, DJ Chicken has taken a swipe at popular singer, Portable for not winning an award at the 16th Headies Award.
It’s worth noting that the Zazuh Zeh star, who received two nominations in last year’s edition but was disqualified for threatening to kill his co-nominees if he doesn’t win the awards, did not make it onto this year’s nomination list, along with Wizkid and others.
After the award ceremony which took place in Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday September 5, Portable confessed that he had let himself down.
Following Portable’s inability to secure a nomination or a win, DJ Chicken went live on his Instagram page to brutally mock him.
He stated that Portable’s fame has dwindled, adding that the cost of Portable’s house in Ogun State is the amount he makes on Instagram daily.
He also criticized Portable for suggesting that his colleague in the music industry, Shallipopi, is a Yahoo boy, and urged him to try his hand at internet fraud if it was that simple.
