“I thank God my name wasn’t written as R.I.P” – Sales girl who was almost killed by a thief in Oyo speaks out (Photos)

A CCTV footage which captured the moment a man walked into a gadget shop to steal a macbook and subsequently try to kill the salesgirl, went viral on social media yesterday after the thief was apprehended.

The suspect came into the store on the pretext that he wanted to buy a laptop. However, moments later, he attacked the sales girl and attempted to inject her with a liquid substance that was later discovered to be an insecticide

The Sales-girl in question has been praised by netizens as it is seen in the video that she valiantly struggled to break free from the Thief’s hold and run outside to cry for safety.

The girl identified as Jumoke has now taken to social media to share photos documenting the aftermath of her scuffle with the man.
