Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, widely recognised as Ayra Starr has stated that she wants Afrobeats to become the most popular genre worldwide.
The 21-year-old Grammy nominee additionally declared she wants to be among the top performers in the genre.
Speaking in a recent interview with Cosmopolitan UK, she said;
“My hope for Afrobeats is for it to be the biggest genre in the world. Because it deserves to be.Other genres of music are great, but there’s nothing like Afrobeat.
Even the sad music makes you feel good. So, I want Afrobeats to be the biggest genre in the world and I would love to be one of the leading artistes.”
In other news, a Nigerian man, identified as Bishop Solex, has taken to social media to address men who cheat on their wives and believe their wives lack options.
Solex, a father of one, asserted that some men are making a big mistake if they think their wives lack the opportunity to cheat like them.
According to him, many women are only choosing to respect God and honor their marriage, otherwise they would also be unfaithful as they have the option to sleep with multiple men if they want to.
Solex shared these thoughts in a post on his Facebook page on Monday, March 18, after seeing the kind of men sliding into his wife’s DM.
