Popular Nigerian singer, 2face Idibia has said using the phrase ‘people of color’ to describe black people is total bullsh*t to him.
He stated this in a post shared on his Instastory on Tuesday, November 22, adding that the phrase doesn’t sit well with him except white is not also a colour.
“Unless we are all saying that WHITE is not a colour. The idea of saying PEOPLE OF COLOUR is total bullshit to me.
Meanwhile, his post has sparked different reactions online as Nigerians and other Africans share their two cent on the concept behind the phrase ‘people of colour’.

It’s the fabrication of the western world to make us look barbaric, backward, archaic ,uneducated and uncivilized and seeing themselves as WHITES (pure, forward, civilized and industrialized). They simply want to rewrite history by manipulating it. Civilization started in Africa 👌”

No human is practically White in color, but you see the Africans have all the skin colors, light brown, dark brown, coffee brown and maybe black.”
