A video of a young police officer hiding in a nearby shop after three of his colleagues were gunned down at a checkpoint in Enugu, has gone viral on social media.
The incident took place around 1:20 pm yesterday, February 10, at a police checkpoint near Lomalinda Estate by Maryland suburb of the Enugu South Local Government Area of the state.
Sharing the video, he wrote ;
In my life I have never seen a police man look this traumatized. This was happening in Enugu while the Ibadan attack was happening. 3 police men ended up dead, a woman and her driver kidnapped while stray bullet also touch another guy. Insecurity in this country is very scary!
He is a human being.
Not just that, very young and vibrant. He came from a home like us to. He is not made with bullet proof.
So therefore, gone so soon will not be his potion. Highest, he will be asked to drop off from police force
