While singer, Reekado Banks might be wallowing in despair after receiving a heavy jab from Afro-pop singer, Burna Boy after the latter deemed him an ‘unworthy challenger’, his former record label mate, Korede Bello looks like he wants to be the David to Reekado’s Goliath.

It all started when the ‘On the Low’ singer said blatantly, that Reekado is not a ‘worthy challenger’ if they ever were to battle, lyrically, musically and physically.

Burna Boy had tweeted,

I don’t really know what a hit battle is but I’m willing to go toe to toe with ANY worthy challenger. Lyrically , musically , physically. However they want it

To which Reekado responded,

I’m game that energy let’s get it

Then came the savage response that has the internet going wild,

You know I got too much love for you bro. But didn’t you see wen I said “Worthy Challenger”? Reeky oooooo!!!

The RnB singer then made an attempt —a rather subtle one— to clapback at the singer with his response,

Lol Love you too bro. Are we playing these jams or what?

However, his former record label mate, Korede Bello seems like he’s ready to pick up five stones on his behalf to fight the ‘African Giant’. He took to his Twitter to share the tweet,

what are your insecurities ?!
Even Giants feel vulnerable sometimes…

He then went on to defend his colleague, calling him a ‘certified hitmaker’, saying that some people are dumb AF with their negative energy.
