A Nigerian man has praised his wife for marrying him when he was still living in his grandmother’s house and had only N200,000 to his name.
The man took to Twitter (now X) to shower encomium on his wife while reacting to the recent statement of Big Brother Naija star Rachel, who advised ladies against marrying men who earn below N800,000.
Posting a photo of himself and his wife, the man identified as @mixture1126 on Twitter rubbished the statement, using his personal experience as a counterargument.
The young man, who is currently residing in England, added that some ladies are just unfortunate with their ridiculous demands from men.
He tweeted,
“She married me with 200k in my account, and we lived in a single ROOM in my grandmother’s house. There was no real source of income except two bikes in my name. Today, we are thanking God.
Some of you ladies are just unfortunate, fellow.”
