A woman has taken to TikTok to share how much of a liar her ex-husband was.
According to her, before she got married to him, he had told her he was in his late thirties. She didn’t bother with specifics, as she was already engrossed in the relationship that led to their marriage. A few months after the marriage, he told her he was going to be clocking 40, so she planned to bake him a cake.
To her surprise, days before his birthday, he confessed that he was actually turning 42, not 40. She decided not to stress the matter because she realized he would make it look like she was complaining about an irrelevant matter.
A month after the birthday, they went to the hospital over a medical issue in his leg. And while she filled his bio on a form, he told her that he was actually 43. She got confused and asked how that was possible since he had just clocked 42 a month ago. They argued briefly, and the wife handed him the pen so he would fill it himself.
To her astonishment, he filled his age as 43. They got home and she began to question him, but he dismissed the issue as irrelevant. That the age difference between what he told her and his actual age made no difference.
She added that she was 23 as at then and her theory is that he was trying to fit in, seeing that he was older than her.
