A lady took to social media to share how her friend who recently got married divorced her husband after she discovered he is gay.
Sharing on the microblogging platform, X, the lady identified as @ZahrahShekarau stated her friend who got married a month ago divorced her husband after she found out he is gay. She was shocked to discover after getting married to the man he was in a sexual relationship with another person from his gender.
The lady exclaimed the man’s act was scary and deceitful, that the husband deceived her friend into marriage without her knowledge of his true identity.
She noted her friend had to end the one-month-old marriage after she discovered her husband is having sexual intimacy with his fellow man.
She tweeted;
“My friend who got married last month got divorced, she found out her husband is gay, Innalillahi wa’inna ilaihin rajiun.”
Netizens have raised awareness that some men hide their sexual identity from their wives, and deceive them into marriage and having kids while the husbands continue to be intimate with their gender. Some suggested the husband could be bisexual while others questioned if the lady didn’t notice his sexual feelings towards his gender before marriage.
