A lady has taken to social media to share how she went mad after taking weight-loss pills to please her boyfriend.
Before sharing her story, the young lady made it clear that she is coming out because she is seeking help or for people to feel sorry for her, because the incident happened years ago. She highlighted that the story is especially to enlighten people on the effects of weight-gain drugs.
According to her, she used to be insecure about her body: she was an actor and model who hardly got jobs due to how slender she looked. To add to that, her boyfriend as at the time told her that he wished she could add up some weight because he liked chubby girls.
The lady then approached her older brother’s girlfriend, who recommended a weight gain drug. The lady got skeptical and insisted she would just eat well, but the brother’s girlfriend persuaded her. She got the drug for ₦23,000, and started taking it. Two weeks into the medication, she noticed blood in her urine, abdominal p@ins, and her cheeks getting fat; instead of the places that were advertised to her. She shared the experience with her brother’s girlfriend and she told her that it was part of the process. The lady decided there that she wasn’t going to take the drug anymore, as her health was more important to her.
Days later, she went for a video shoot and lodged in a hotel. While she conversed with a friend, she blanked out and went into a trance. She stareted shouting that Jesus was coming very soon, that Tinibu was going to be president and things would be hard for Nigerians. According to her it was like she was seeing visions but it was insa!ty. They rushed her to the hospital, tried to sedate her two injections but they both had no effect.
She said she wasn’t aware she did all of these, until she gained consciousness the evening of that day.
