A Kenyan landlord has put up his tenant’s underwear for auction following a row over unpaid rent.

The auction notice was published in the local dailies on Monday, January 30, 2023. According to Nyaluoyo Auctioneers, they were instructed by the landlord of one Zachariah Sichenje Masika to auction four men’s underwear and four women’s underwear belonging to the tenant to recover the rent he’s being owed.

The public auction will take place at the firm’s yard in Kisumu. The terms of sale are cash at the fall of the hammer.

The notice has since gone viral and elicited hilarious reactions from social media users.

The thespian, in a recent interview with This Day, recounted how her mother gave birth to her as a stillborn and disposed her remains in the hospital.
