A man has called off his wedding after coming across his fiancée’s WhatsApp conversation with her friends.
A couple who had been engaged for a year decided to finally tie the knot, but three months before the wedding a revelation made the man to call it quit.
A close friend of his had sent him a screenshot of WhatsApp group conversation between his fiancée and her friends. According to the WhatsApp chats she described her fiancé as boring and said she was only settling for him for stability. That her true love was her ex who was unfortunately broke. Her fiancé was just a practical decision.
He didn’t confront her about it until after weeks of thought. He reflected on the days that she seemed distracted, how she would compared him to others and the way she used to lit up around others but deemed around him.
Eventually he called and sat her down. Calmly showed her the screenshots which she didn’t deny. She responded that she was just venting. That every woman says things like that to her friends and it didn’t mean that she doesn’t love him.
He then asked if she ever felt a bit of care for him or she’s just in this for what she would benefit. She said she did care for him, but when he asked the question again she wouldn’t look at him in the eye again.
The next morning he called off the wedding. His family were furious, while the girl’s family called him dramatic. His response was that he wasn’t @ngry at her for not having feelings for him, but that she was willing to let him live a l!e
