A Nigerian politician, Olumbe Akinkugbe, has recounted how snakes stopped visiting his house after he lost the House of Representatives primary election.

Olumbe, who contested in the recently concluded House of Reps primary election for Ondo East and West federal constituency under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC), took to Twitter to recall his experience.

According to him, though he is not a superstitious person who would attribute such occurrence to spiritual forces, he found it strange that the weekly snake visits suddenly stopped after he lost the election.

He tweeted;

“Not a superstitious person but somehow strange that the weekly snake visit’s to my house since I lost the HOR primaries have stopped

Strange I’ve been in this house 4 rainy seasons no cockroach. But as i said I’m not superstitious”
