The gods be praised! The Ooni of Ife and his queen, Olori Wuraola are reportedly expecting a prince or princess to join the royal family in the nearest future.
Sources close to the Yoruba monarch’s family confirmed the news of a bun in the oven after months of speculation that the queen might be carrying a heir, Bellanaija reports.
The rumour which has now been confirmed peaked during a visit of the royal couple to Lagos to see Olori Wuraola’s billionaire uncle, John Obayuwana.
While attending the wedding ceremony of Seyi Tinubu to Lyla Holm in August, the queen,dressed in her signature white ensemble, was pictured with a visibly protruding mid-section.
The modern-day royals who got married 12 March, 2016 happen to be one of the most influential monarchs of this time and have been active on social media since the Ooni’s ascension to the throne, lending their voices and substance to causes of poverty eradication, youth empowerment and others close to their hearts.
Congratulations are in order for Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and his wife, Olori Wuraola Ogunwusi.
We really cannot wait for the arrival for the little prince (s) or princess (es) who is set to join the Ooni’s only child, Princess Adeola.
