A video that’s gone viral on social media shows the moment a student drags a lecturer by the shirt and fights him for preventing her from taking an exam in Auchi Polytechnic, Edo state.

According to reports surrounding the video, the lecturer had reportedly given the student a malpractice form, meaning she would have to retake the exam.

This angered the student and caused her to attack him after the exam. A video shared online shows the lady fighting her lecturer despite efforts by her course mates to move her away from the helpless man.

Man arrested in Imo for killing another man who accused him of sleeping with a married woman

Men of the Imo state police command have apprehended a man identified as Emeka Ezuruike, who is a native of Ubommiri in Rivers State, for allegedly murdering a 25-year-old man, Victor Ikegwuonu who accused him of sleeping with a married woman.

According to a statement released by the spokesperson of the command, Orlando Ikeokwu, preliminary investigation showed that the deceased, Victor Ikegwuonwu, was said to have informed a 52-year-old man, Pa Chijioke Anyiam, that his wife Patience Anyiam, 30 yrs old, was involved in a hot romance with the suspect.

Sequel to that, Emeka went to see Victor to ask him about the allegation.
During the enquiry, both of them got into a serious fight and in the process Emeka Ezuruike stabbed Victor Ikegwuonu with pieces of broken bottles which led to the death of Victor Ikegwuonu.”the statement in part read

Ikeokwu said the suspect has been arrested and taken into custody and that he will be charged to court as soon as investigation into the matter is completed.

Iranian woman ‘hanged after dying of a heart attack’

An Iranian woman who passed away after having a heart attack while waiting to be executed was allegedly still hanged.

The woman, identified as Zahra Ismaili, was convicted of killing her husband, who was a senior official in the Ministry of Intelligence. Her lawyer, Omid Moradi, claimed her husband had allegedly been abusive to both her and their daughter and that she had acted in self-defence.

However, the mother-of-two was sentenced to death by hanging. On the day she was to be executed, she was reportedly made to watch as 16 men were hanged in front of her while waiting her turn at Rajai Shahr Prison, west of the capital Tehran.

She died of a heart attack before it got to her turn but they still went ahead to hang her, according to local news.

Following her death, her lawyer, Mr Moradi, took to Facebook to describe how the events unfolded. He claimed his client’s body was still hanged after she collapsed, to allow her husband’s mother to kick a chair away from beneath her.

It’s been alleged by some students of the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) that a female student was assaulted, stripped, punished, and intimidated because of how she was dressed to submit an assignment.

A friend of the lady who was abused said the lady was putting on a “black t-shirt, yellow midi skirt, and tied her hair with durag.”

According to the friend with handle on Twitter, @faithieee__, a nonacademic staff accosted the lady, accused her of being a cultist and a prostitute.

@faithieee__ narrated what occurred in a series of tweets where she also claimed the staff accused the lady of committing abortion, collected her phones, then went through her social media and more.

The staff also allegedly made her kneel down on a cemented floor from 10am to 5pm. When students of the school got wind of the incident, Rotaract club members stormed the students’ affairs building to demand justice for the lady who is one of their members.

Femi had taken to his Instagram page to share a poorly edited photo of the name “ERICA NLEWEDIN” boldly written on his arm.

A young man, identified as @fawwaz_ibrah on Twitter, has garnered massive reactions on social media after he shared a photo of his mum’s 1985 secondary school result.

He posted the photo and said the result explains why she was always so strict with him. His mother’s report sheet was excellent as she had multiple distinctions.

From the photo, his mum scored 87 in English language, 58 in mathematics, 91 in chemistry, 82 in biology, 85 in government among other scores.

However, the class teacher and principal noted that she could do better in her academics if she curtailed her playfulness.

His mother, Miguelina Eloi Assis dos Santos passed away on Saturday, February 20, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, from Covid-19 complications, and the football legend has finally broken silence following her death.

On Tuesday, February 23, Ronaldinho in a post shared via his social media account thanked fans and friends for their show of support following the news of his mother’s death

Lady allegedly swindles her abroad-based fiancee of N10 million then abandons him for another man

A lady, identified as Mary Egodo, has been accused of swindling her fiancé of N10million and eloping with another man.

The 30-year-old lady was arraigned before the Ejigbo Magistrate Court, Lagos State, for allegedly defrauding her abroad-based fiancé, Ogunshakin Emmanuel.

According to reports, Emmanuel sent her money for the purpose of acquiring a property in Lagos in preparation for their marriage, however, she didn’t use the money for its intended purpose.

Upon retuning to Nigeria to perform their marriage rites, Emmanuel discovered that his fiancée has swindled him and absconded with her new lover.

It was gathered that he couldn’t contact her on every platform as she had blocked him and relocated to an unknown place.

The heartbroken fiancé reported to the police, who trailed and eventually arrested Mary in her hideout. When she was asked to refund the money, she said without mincing words that she had spent it all.

When dragged to court, she was charged with fraud and conversion of the money, which she pleaded not guilty to. The prosecutor, Inspector Bernard Aigbokhan, asked the Court to give a date for hearing for the Police to prove that she actually committed the alleged offence.

She was eventually granted bail in the sum of N3m with two sureties in like sum and the case was adjourned till 19th April, 2021.

Mary is currently in Kirikiri correctional center, pending when she meets her bail condition.

Woman allegedly stabs 13-year-old boy for beating her 7-year-old son

A Zimbabwean woman, Monalisa Choguya allegedly stabbed a 13-year-old boy after her 7-year-old son reported that the teenager beat him.

It was gathered that Choguya who resides in 188 Single Quarters allegedly stabbed the teenage boy identified as Tonderai Kamhuk with a knife for assaulting her son.

She reportedly stabbed the teenager on the back of the head and in the stomach after her son reported the incident to her.

The victim, Tonderai sustained a deep wound in the stomach which left his bowels protruding and a deep gush on the back of the head following the heinous attack, while the accused sustained a cut on her left hand.

Choguya who is 33-year-old has now been charged with attempted murder after she allegedly stabbed the 13-year-old boy who had assaulted her minor son.

Mashonaland West police spokesperson, Inspector Margaret Chitove who confirmed the incident revealed the sad incident occurred on the 23rd of February 2021 around 10 am.

While Tonderai was rushed to Chinhoyi Provincial Hospital for treatment before being transferred to Parirenyatwa, Choguya was arrested and taken into custody.

A viral video has showed the moment a lecturer of the University of Abuja was allegedly beaten to a pulp by Banking and Finance students of the school for reportedly collecting their answer scripts 45 minutes into a 3-hour exam.

It was alleged that the exam which was slated to last for 3 hours was cut short to 45 minutes by the lecturer for no reason, provoking the students to anger.

A Non-Governmental organization has rescued two children who were reportedly thrown out by their aunty in Calabar.

The NGP found the children alone and in distress on a street in Calabar, the Cross River state capital on Wednesday February 24.

According to the NGO, Basic Rights Counsel Initiative, the siblings identified as Mary Abraham and Evelyn Daniel Edet, said they were allegedly driven out of the house by their aunt, Comfort.

Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh has berated Big Brother Naija star, Ka3na for rebuking a fan who tattooed her on her body after she asked for it.

Recall that the Big Brother Naija ‘lockdown’ star, Kate ‘Ka3na’ Jones, reprimanded a female fan who tattooed her name ‘Ka3na’ on her thigh.

The photos and video of the female fan getting the tattoo found its way to social media on Monday, February 22.

However, in an unexpected twist, the mother-of-one was grossly displeased by the fan’s action, and shared a video rebuking the fan.

Ada who is popularly known as Emu in comedy sitcom, The Johnsons, in reaction described Ka3na response to the tattoo as wicked, slammed her for reprimanding the fan in that manner despite asking for it on social media.

“I can re-call how this time last two years I be running helter skelter in the market to make sure my customers Cc @wathonis_ get their orders and ASAP. Even last year I constantly kept posting on my business page (sadly that page is gone).

I have close Fam who used to say business isn’t for me. Well I had no choice it was paying my bills and my son’s so I had to keep pushing.

Life brings us as many joyful moments as it does downfalls. I use every criticism to motivate myself. Let me not even get started about my NYSC struggles …..

Why am I saying all this? It really doesn’t come easy for those you think it comes easy for and life just comes at you super fasttttttttt.

I was gisting with my friend yesterday and I was like “it was actually fun going to the market those days o” and she’s like how is it fun going to the market?

A Nigerian lady has taken to her social media page to narrate a funny story about how her husband proposed to her.

According to the story, it wasn’t the typical proposal that is common in today’s society and she probably wasn’t expecting it on that fateful day.

The man pulled up at her house and asked her to come out, she obliged and got into his car and he asked her to try some rings to see if it fits.

When she tried the one that was perfect on her fingers, that was how the man made his intentions known without even waiting to get a yes…. LOL.

Him: Nne, I’m in front of your house, come out, I’m waiting inside the car.

Her: *Comes out and enters the car

Him: put on this ring and check if it’s your size

Her: *puts on the ring but it’s a bit oversized

Him: oya check this second one and see if it fits

Her: *wears the second ring and it fitted perfectly.

Him: ngwanu, I will be going, greet your parents for me and give this plate of fried chicken to your sister.

That was how my husband proposed to me. Igbo men.

Nollywood actress, Opeyemi Aiyeola has taken to social media to open up on her marriage to Olayiwola Babatunde Abdulwakil after 14 years in marriage.

Opeyemi penned a touching tribute to her husband appreciating him for being her dumping ground for over 14 years despite her troublesome nature.

According to the Yoruba star, her husband is the glue holding their home together and admonished fans to rather praise Olayiwola for her success in marriage.

In her words;

“Starting my day by appreciating this rare being Olayiwola Babatunde Abdulwakil . Forget the height n tough look oooo this guy has been my dumping ground for over 14 years and he knows he will forever be.

He gets the good ( which is rare), bad and ugly side of me regularly and guess what ? He has chosen to love me unconditionally. He acts like mumu every time I start my Sagamu ijogbon not becos he’s weak but becos he is highly compassionate, loving, peaceful n my Gods sent.

People say the woman keeps the home but not in our case ooo. I am proud to say my @olasexcy is the glue holding my home together and for that Oluwa o Seun mi.
