Young Nigerian man allegedly slumps, dies while taking his bath

Amachi Meche, a young Nigerian man reportedly slumped and died while taking his bath on Sunday, March 14th.

According to viral reports the young man who lost his father seven months ago was taking his bath in the bathroom in the early hours of Sunday when he slumped and died.

Amaechi Meche hails from Okutu Town in Nsukka, Enugu State. Friends and family have since taken to Facebook to mourn his demise.

A Facebook user, Sen Chijinkem Ugwuanyi wrote,

“REST in PEACE …… Amachi Meche….. #Michellin, Just to take his bath yesterday he slumped inside bathroom and died……A Jolly Good Fellow from Okutu Town. This Crazy world Sef!”

In related news, friends and family of a young man, identified as Victor Asuquo Akpan, have been thrown into mourning after he allegedly slumped and died while participating in the Nigerian Army screening exercise.

Akpan was reportedly at the Nigerian Army screening exercise in Ibawa, Akwa Ibom State when he slumped and died.

A friend of the deceased who shared the sad story on Facebook revealed that, Akpans body has been s laid to rest.

Man set to divorce wife for having N18M and lying of being broke when he needed support to complete his family house

A Nigerian man is set to divorce his wife of 15 years, after she failed to help him complete his family house despite having N18M in her bank account.

According to the Twitter user, Maxi Uchechukwu Ajujieogu who shared the story on the platform, the woman claimed she was broke when her husband approached her for financial help to complete the project.

The man later found out his wife lied to him about being broke and only gave the excuse because her name wasn’t on the documents of the house.

Feeling betrayed, the husband who claimed to have sponsored his wife through her tertiary institution till she bagged a masters degree decided to end their marriage.

“Last week a man discovered his wife of 15 years had over 18m NGN, and didn’t want to help him complete the family house he was building. He later found out his wife’s friends told her not to because her name wasn’t on the document.

The man was pissed because he remembered asking for money from her and she said she doesn’t have. Thus she setup to buy a property in her name, but was duped. Her husband exclaimed how he had pushed her through tertiary, and master’s.

The man found out about her getting dupped when she starting behaving abnormal. There’s been call for plea for the man to let her be.

But unfortunately, he says he’s over with the marriage. The kids will have to figure out who they want. As I said, actions have consequences.”

Nigerian singer Barry Jhay who was recently arrested in connection to the death of his label boss Karshy Gordon, has been cleared of the murder charges by the Ghanaian police.

According to a report of an investigation carried out by the Ghanaian police, Barry was attacked by Karshy shortly after the record label boss’ girlfriend rushed in to where he was recording a song to report that Karshy was behaving abnormally.

The police report disclosed that Karshy jumped down from the 4th floor of the hotel they lodged in, 12 minutes after Barry who he reportedly attacked with a knife has fled the scene. It was further learnt that an eyewitness and CCTV footage corroborated the claim.

The 10-year old comedian beat Nigeria’s Ikorodu Bois, South African magician Wian Van Den Berg, Uganda’s Ghetto Kids, Kenya’s social media sensation Elsa Majimbo, and Bonang Matheba from South Africa, to clinch victory at the voting-based awards.

Emmanuella of Mark Angel Comedy, was first nominated for the Kids Choice Awards in 2018 alongside Nigerian singer, Davido. However, they both lost to Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo.

The excited award winner took to her Instagram page to announce her victory and appreciate her fans for voting for her.

The media personality disagreed with popular African belief that people with superior powers, otherwise known as “Village people”, can destroy people’s lives and impede their progress.

Uti took to Twitter to express his thoughts. According to him, the major reason why Nigerian still believe that their destinies can be manipulated is ignorance or lack of Knowledge, as he called it.

“You need to step up your game” – Bobrisky advises ladies, as he flaunts credit alert of N25M

Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky has advised ladies to step up their game as he flaunts 25 Million naira credit alert he received today, March 15th.

According to Bobrisky waking up to credit alert of millions of naira is peculiar to the “big girl” lifestyle.

The socialite received the alert in three batches, first; 10 Million Naira, second; 5 Million Naira, and third; 10 Million Naira, amounting to a sum of 25 Million Naira.

Sharing screenshot of the credit alert, Bob wrote,

“If you claim you are a big girl and dis type of alert hasn’t woken u up from sleep on a Monday morning…. 15th March you need to step up ur game from Bobrisky. 25million alert on a Monday morning. See I won’t stop doing good. See money now. What is your own Monday saying ?”

This is coming after Bob took a swipe at ladies who dub themselves “big girls”, but fail to support their partners in trying times.

In a post shared by the male barbie via Snapchat, he averred that a lady attains the level of a big girl only if she has ever rendered financial help to her man when he needed it.

According to him, against trying times, men need financial support from their women and a woman who cannot provide such is not worthy to be called a big girl.

Bobrisky shared a photo of his late mum on his official Instagram page, yesterday, March 14th, to celebrate mothers day. Sharing the beautiful photo he wrote,

“Even when u are gone mama, I will always celebrate you. Wish you were still alive by now ! You would have been d most beautiful mother 😍😍😍. Back then in school people don’t believe my mum was dis pretty 😂. Continue to Rest In Peace mummy”.

UNN student commits suicide after his phone was allegedly seized and script torn by lecturer for cheating during exam

A student of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, identified as Daniel Mba, has committed suicide by jumping from the third-floor of a storey building on Friday, March 12.

According to reports, the 300level student of Biochemistry, was caught cheating with his phone during the ongoing examination, prompting the invigilator to tear his script few minutes to the end of the exam.

The lecturer reportedly seized his phone and handed him a new script to start afresh.

Following the incident, the deceased left the examination hall and went to his lodge at Onuiyi, in Nsukka Local Government Area of the state, where he plunged from the third floor of his lodge around 11:34 pm, after the poisonous substances including rat poison he ingested failed to produce immediate result.

An occupant of the lodge, identified as Nkechi Abo, said after the incident, they rushed to the deceased room where they found rat poison, bleach containers and syringes.

Another occupant, Christabel Okpara, told Vanguard that they alerted the caretaker when they found the student struggling for life after plunging from the third floor.

He was immediately rushed to the Bishop Shanahan Hospital, Nsukka where he died in the early hours of Saturday, March 13.

The caretaker told Vanguard that he reported the incident to the police after every attempt to revive him failed in the hospital.

“A friend who stayed with him when he regained consciousness in the hospital said he complained of frustration with his last examination encounter and financial hardship. He told him that his family was not giving him enough money for upkeep. He said he was bitter that the lecturer also seized his phone,” the caretaker narrated.

“When I rushed to the lodge, I saw him on the floor clutching a kitchen knife. We immediately rushed him to the hospital and he was given immediate medical attention. We later returned to his room where we discovered rat poison and bleach. We also saw syringes on the floor. We also saw a rope tied to his ceiling fan.

“He is a loner because I have not seen him with any friend since he parked into the lodge. I was surprised that one girl who identified herself as Scholastica showed up as his girlfriend. I think he must have been suffering from depression silently.”
